2 Dham Yatra Package – Kedarnath & Badrinath

Embark on a spiritually uplifting journey with our 2 Dham Yatra Package, a sacred pilgrimage covering two of the most revered temples in India — Kedarnath and Badrinath. This holy yatra takes you through the heart of the Himalayas, where devotion meets divinity, and faith blends seamlessly with nature’s beauty. Designed for devotees seeking spiritual enlightenment and peace, the Kedarnath Badrinath Yatra is one of the most fulfilling religious experiences you can ever undertake.

Starting from Rishikesh, this 6 Days / 5 Nights journey covers Guptkashi, Kedarnath, Badrinath, and Rudraprayag before returning to Rishikesh. The route offers breathtaking mountain views, sacred river confluences, and serene valleys that reflect the spiritual essence of Uttarakhand. Whether you choose to trek or opt for the helicopter yatra, the divine atmosphere of these shrines will leave your soul rejuvenated.

For those planning a North India pilgrimage tour, this 2 Dham Yatra is a perfect combination of faith, adventure, and natural beauty — ideal for families, elders, and devotees seeking Moksha (salvation).

Kedarnath Temple – The Abode of Lord Shiva

Kedarnath Temple is one of the 12 Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva and holds immense religious importance among Hindus. Situated at an altitude of 3,583 meters near the Mandakini River, this ancient temple stands as a symbol of faith and endurance amid the snow-capped Himalayan peaks. It is believed that the Pandavas from the Mahabharata era built the temple to seek Lord Shiva’s blessings after the Kurukshetra war.

The current temple structure, built by Adi Shankaracharya in the 8th century, is made of massive stone slabs, reflecting the architectural brilliance of ancient India. The aura of chanting mantras, the sound of temple bells, and the pure mountain air create an unmatched spiritual atmosphere that moves every soul. Pilgrims can also experience the Abhishek Pooja in the early hours and witness the divine Kedarnath Aarti during sunset — a sight that brings peace beyond words.

For devotees who prefer comfort, the Kedarnath helicopter yatra from Phata or Guptkashi provides a quicker and scenic journey over the mountains, allowing you to complete your darshan without physical strain.

Badrinath Temple – The Eternal Seat of Lord Vishnu

Located along the banks of the Alaknanda River, Badrinath Temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and is one of the Char Dhams of India. According to mythology, Lord Vishnu meditated here for centuries under the Badri tree, seeking redemption and universal balance. The temple, nestled between the Nar and Narayan mountain ranges, stands at a height of 3,133 meters and welcomes thousands of devotees every year during the yatra season.

Built in traditional Garhwali architecture, the temple’s vibrant façade and gold-coated roof reflect its divine glory. Before entering the temple, devotees take a holy dip in the natural hot spring known as Tapt Kund, believed to cleanse sins and purify the soul. Inside the sanctum, the black stone idol of Lord Vishnu in meditation posture radiates peace and divinity.

Nearby attractions include Mana Village — the last Indian village before the Indo-Tibet border — and mythological sites like Vyas Gufa, Ganesh Gufa, and Bhim Pul, which add depth to your pilgrimage experience. The evening Aarti at Badrinath Temple is another divine spectacle not to be missed.
