Yamunotri Temple


Yamunotri, dedicated to Goddess Yamuna, is the first stop on the Chota Char Dham Yatra circuit. Pilgrims trek from Janki Chatti to reach the shrine and often bathe in the hot spring Surya Kund, believed to cleanse and protect devotees.

Gangotri Temple


Gangotri marks the origin of the holy River Ganga and is dedicated to Goddess Ganga. The present temple dates to the 18th century and stands beside the icy Bhagirathi river. Pilgrims visit for sacred dips and to offer prayers amid tranquil mountain scenery.

Kedarnath Temple


Kedarnath is one of the 12 Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva, set close to the Mandakini river. Its origins are ancient and wrapped in legend — the Pandavas are said to have built the temple seeking forgiveness. The remote location adds to its powerful spiritual atmosphere.

Badrinath Temple


Badrinath, dedicated to Lord Vishnu, is the final and most visited shrine on the Chota Char Dham Yatra route. Set along the Alaknanda river, the temple welcomes devotees to the meditative image of Vishnu and a colorful local culture including Mana Village.

Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Rishikesh

Arrive in Rishikesh via train, flight (through Dehradun), or road. Upon arrival, our representative will welcome you and guide you to your hotel. In the evening, witness the mesmerizing Ganga Aarti at Triveni Ghat, a perfect beginning to your spiritual journey. You may also choose to visit Parmarth Niketan Ashram or take a stroll across the iconic Laxman Jhula. Overnight stay in Rishikesh.

Day 02: Rishikesh to Barkot

Drive along scenic routes towards Barkot, passing through the picturesque hills of Mussoorie. You can make an optional stop at Kempty Falls to capture the natural beauty. Upon arrival in Barkot, check in to your hotel near the Yamuna River and relax, preparing for the Yamunotri trek the next day. Overnight stay in Barkot.

Day 03: Barkot – Yamunotri – Barkot

Start early with a drive to Janki Chatti, the base for the Yamunotri trek. Trek 6 km to the Yamunotri Temple, with optional ponies or palki for convenience. Take a holy dip in Surya Kund, offer prayers at Divya Shila, and soak in the spiritual atmosphere. After completing the trek, return to Barkot for overnight stay.

Day 04: Barkot to Uttarkashi

Drive through serene pine forests to Uttarkashi, situated on the banks of the Bhagirathi River. En route, visit the sacred Kashi Vishwanath Temple. Check in at the hotel and spend the evening relaxing amidst nature’s tranquility. Overnight stay in Uttarkashi.

Day 05: Uttarkashi – Gangotri – Uttarkashi

Step too early for a journey to Gangotri, the origin of the River Ganga at 3,048 meters. Visit the scenic Harsil Valley on the way and offer prayers at Gangotri Temple. A holy dip in the Bhagirathi River is an unforgettable spiritual experience. Return to Uttarkashi for an overnight stay.

Day 06: Uttarkashi to Guptkashi/Sitapur

Drive through mountain valleys, passing the majestic Tehri Dam, to reach Guptkashi, a spiritual town near Kedarnath. If time permits, visit the Ardh Narishwar Temple. Overnight stay in Guptkashi or Sitapur.

Day 07: Guptkashi to Kedarnath

Proceed early to Gaurikund and begin the 18 km trek to Kedarnath Temple (3,583 m). For convenience, pony, doli, or helicopter services are available from Phata or Sersi. Upon reaching Kedarnath, check in at your guesthouse or camp and visit the revered Kedarnath Temple, one of the 12 Jyotirlingas. Attend the evening Aarti for a truly divine experience. Overnight stay in Kedarnath.

Day 08: Kedarnath to Guptkashi/Sitapur

Start the day with an early morning darshan at Kedarnath Temple for Abhishek. Return to Gaurikund by trek or helicopter and drive back to Guptkashi/Sitapur for an overnight stay.

Day 09: Guptkashi to Badrinath

Drive to Badrinath via Joshimath, visiting Narsingh Temple and Shankaracharya Math en route. Upon arrival, explore the sacred Badrinath Temple and attend the evening Aarti. Overnight stay in Badrinath.

Day 10: Badrinath to Rishikesh

Begin the day with early morning darshan at Badrinath Temple, followed by a visit to Mana Village, India’s last village near the Tibet border. Drive back to Rishikesh via Rudraprayag and Devprayag, witnessing the confluence of Alaknanda and Bhagirathi rivers. Arrive in Rishikesh in the evening, concluding your divine journey through the Himalayas.

Cancellation policy

If you need to cancel your Chota Char Dham Yatra package, the full amount will be refunded, except for a service fee of ₹2,500, if canceled at least 15 days before the departure date. Cancellations made 7 to 14 days before the trip will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations made less than 7 days before departure, as well as cancellations due to missed or early departures, will not be refunded. All refund requests will be processed within 7 to 10 business days of confirmation. To ensure a smooth process, any changes or cancellations must be reported directly to our travel team via email or WhatsApp.
