Day-by-Day Itinerary
- Day 1 — Arrive Kathmandu
Arrive, briefing and special hawan/puja for the yatra. - Day 2 — Kathmandu → Nepalgunj
Fly to Nepalgunj, the gateway to the Himalayan border. - Day 3 — Nepalgunj → Simikot → Hilsa
Mountain flights to Simikot and helicopter to Hilsa. - Day 4 — Hilsa → Purang (Taklakot)
Cross into Tibet; rest and acclimatise at Purang. - Day 5 — Acclimatisation
Rest day with light sightseeing to adjust to altitude. - Day 6 — Purang → Lake Mansarovar
Drive to the holy lake; puja and holy dip. - Day 7 — Mansarovar → Darchen
Parikrama of the lake; transfer to Darchen. - Day 8 — Kailash Parikrama begins (Deraphuk)
Begin the sacred Kailash parikrama. - Day 9 — Parikrama (Zuthulpuk)
Continue the parikrama with darshan of the north face. - Day 10 — Return to Purang → Hilsa
Complete parikrama and begin the return. - Day 11 — Return to Kathmandu
Helicopter and flights back to Kathmandu; departure.
